Hints & Tips

Dining
  • If you can book restaurant reservations in advance or as soon as you arrive as they can fill up quickly. If you want to be certain, you can book your reservations online using Disney's restaurant reservation system in order to secure a place. (However many restaurants require a guaratee with a credit card when booking online, but you can cancel up to 48 hours in advance).
  • The 'Be Our Guest' Restaurant is a new dining experience located just behind the Castle. As this is the case the queue at around 11:30 can be long and have a wait time of 45 minutes. However a helpful cast member recommended that the line is shorter around 1 - 1:30pm. You can also research allergies on the touch-screen menu to see what foods are okay to eat.
  • Not feeling hungry? Just fancy a burger? Well at a quick service restaurant you do not have to order a "meal". If you just want pizza without a salad, or a burger without fries, you can have it!
  • Or better still, Disney portion sizes can be large so why not share a meal.
  • Feeling thirsty? Tempted to buy a bottle of cold water. Well remember that there are water fountains around the park. Simply bring an empty bottle and fill it up as you need it.
  • Just a reminder - check when counter service restaurants close otherwise you may have to eat in a sit-down restaurant which can be costly.
FastPasses
  • When using FastPasses, remember that each person in your party should have his or her own FastPass in their possession when entering the FastPass return queue.
  • Even more important, if you wish to ride together, then keep your party together.
  • Be prepared: If you are using the FastPass return queue, be ready to give a Cast Member your FastPass as you get close to the loading zone of an attraction. Don't put your FastPass away, or throw it away, after you've shown it at the queue's entrance.
Miscellaneous
  • When a Cast Member asks you how many people are in your group, tell them the entire number in your group. The Cast Members are trying to group your entire party onto the ride at the same time.
  • If you tell them a number less than your party, don't be surprised when your party gets split up.
